What is an Oqood?

Oqood is the DLD off-plan registration that records your interest in a unit before title (title deed) is issued at handover. You should receive project and unit identifiers that match the reservation.

What should be on the reservation form?

Developer name, project name, unit number, price, payment schedule, escrow bank, and cooling-off or cancellation terms where applicable. If escrow details are missing, pause.

60/40 vs 80/20: which is safer?

Neither is inherently safer. 60/40 usually leaves more cash for handover. 80/20 reduces handover shock but stresses construction-period liquidity. Choose the plan you can fund without selling other assets in a hurry.
